Creative Wine Storage
Tuesday, September 8, 2009

Over the years you've learned to tell the difference between a Cab Franc and a Merlot. You’ve perfected the posh swirl of the tasting glass and the nonchalant nod to your waiter, indicating “yes, this bottle will be just fine.” And you started buying wine. The good stuff. The stuff you share with friends, loved ones, and, on occasion, just yourself and a good book.

The fact is that, not unlike your beautifully displayed books, you’d like to show your wine collection off. Stylishly. Elegantly. In a way that is good for the wine and pleasing for you and your guests.

We don’t blame you. Here are a few ideas on how others have achieved this grape – err, great – display project.

This is so groovy...I love artful ways to display wine. I think, though, that you have to incorporate a wine fridge with any display...I find it gauche to mix your chardonnay in with your lettuce. Church and state you know...
