I appreciate that California Closets refers to its closet system for kids as "organized chaos." That's currently something I can only aspire to as with a 3-year old, it's more realistically "chaos." Without the organization part. But a mom can dream, right?
My daughter has shown an increasing interest in room cleaning and table-setting of late so can closet organizing be far behind? With clearly demarcated spots for everything from sparkly shoes to stuffed animals,The "Classic" closet system offers everything a little princess could ever want--even a finish option for doors called "Fairy Tale." (I also like Antique Fleur and Tea Party--feminine and pretty without being too precious).
And speaking of precious, fortunately, there are no pink finishes offered (we've got that color covered already with the bedding). For a girls' room, I'd opt for Bellissima White or Umbrian Oak, both beautiful and super neutral, easy to combine with any popular girls' room color from butter yellow to lilac. As so much of my daughter's clothes are casual and cotton, a good assortment of baskets would be a must, perfect homes for tiny t-shirts and wayward ankle socks. I'd add some mini bins for her shoes and her cherished stuffed crocodile.
I love the pull-out hamper as the laundry pile constantly regenerates itself at our house!
