Happy Homecoming: Wallpapering Your Entryway

In a perfect world, when we walked through the front door after work each day we'd be greeted by a loving dog/cat/child, an attractive significant other replacing our coat with a glass of wine, and the smell of lasagne wafting through the halls.

As it happens, the chance of this happening on a daily basis is, for most of us, well, remote.

But being home-minded, as we are, we think pretty wallpaper is a reasonable alternative. Let us explain. See, the one thing that does greet us all, day after day, is our entryway. Be it a tiny nook before turning the corner into the living room, or a grand foyer, the entryway is always there, saying "welcome home" in its own, understated way.

But that same entryway can greet with you with the equivalent of a hug and a tapdance if it's given a little TLC. By wallpapering the entryway of your home in a pattern that makes you smile, you're taking your after-work fate into your own hands, and are guaranteeing a happy result.

Here are some wonderful wallpapered entryways to give you inspiration. (Lasagne not included.)
