Inspiration Everywhere: Piece de Resistance
Posted by Jenna Briand

This chandelier is in the office of Massucco Warner Miller, a design firm in San Francisco. It’s the kind of wow-piece that would transform a very simple, neutral room into something your guests would talk about. Or better still, into something that would make you smile, every day.

And an office is a great place to hang it, but we’re also envisioning a bedroom – with plush white bedding and perhaps just one or two turquoise colored throw pillows to match. Or a dining room. An elegant antique table – perhaps painted white for modern flair – with this colorful piece hovering overhead?

It’s true (we rediscover, day in and day out) that a single piece of furniture, or in this case lighting, that appeals to you can be the inspiration for an entire room. This lamp has us redecorating everything, mentally at least, and we like it.

Looking for a trusted local resource to help you transform your office (or bedroom...or any room in your home!) at a price you can afford? Request a free consultation and estimate from one of thousands of contractors throughout North America:
