Several months ago I met a couple that shares a modest, three-bedroom apartment with their four young sons (ages 4-12). After asking the requisite questions about what it’s like to have FOUR young sons, my inner home voyeur got directly to asking about sleeping arrangements. I wanted to know how this particular family made it work.
The answer was wonderfully unexpected: All four boys slept in one room, the other room was for play (and homework, and violin practice). It all made such sense! How logical to use one room for sleep, the other for noise. One for decompression, the other for stimulation. By all accounts, it worked just perfectly.
