The experts at Pantone (who specialize in tracking color popularity for decor and fashion) have proclaimed turquoise to be the "it" color of 2010. (News which we greeted with a totally biased "yay!") The reasoning? The financial woes that have weighed so heavily on us all this past year need an antidote, and turquoise is it. Turquoise -- which incorporates both blue and green -- is soothing and inviting, fresh and rejuvenating.
It's the wall-color equivalent of a day at the spa, or a long overdue vacation.
With that, why not ponder bringing a little turquoise into your life? Not just because someone says it's the "it" color. But because it looks so very pretty.
