Spice Things Up

Thanksgiving is coming. We can't help it that we're thinking about food already.

The turkey and potatoes are on the list, but it’s also time to make sure the cumin, thyme, sea salt and rosemary in order. That’s what we were doing over the weekend, with some degree of frustration, which got us thinking about how we might improve our spice storage. Really, now, are we the only ones who look and look for the oregano, conclude we’ve run out, buy a new jar and then discover there are actually three or four half-used oreganos hiding out behind the baking soda?

The people who *don’t* do this are the ones we''re looking to for ideas. And there are plenty of good ideas out there -- from countertop, to built-in, to magnetic and more.
